Arriving on time for class. Classes start and end at the scheduled time, so students must arrive on time and be ready to start the class. Only registered students and Danse Mode-Action staff are allowed to enter the studio during class.
Appropriate dance attire. Students must wear appropriate dance attire, including leotards, tights, and ballet shoes for ballet classes, and comfortable clothing that allows for movement for other dance styles. Danse-Études dancers must also wear their Danse-Études t-shirts during class.
Hair pulled back. Students must have their hair pulled back and away from their faces to ensure they can see and move properly.
No food or drinks are allowed in the studios. Eating and drinking should be done outside the studio to keep the studio clean and free from spills.
Respect for space and equipment. Students must take care of the studio and equipment and respect the school's property.
No cell phone use during class. Students should not use their cell phones during class as it can be distracting for both the student and the teacher unless specifically directed by the teacher.
Mandatory attendance. Regular attendance is important for progress, and parents must inform Danse Mode-Action if their child will be absent. Students will be denied entry to their class if their account balance is not up to date.
Positive attitude and respect for others. The dance school should promote a positive and respectful environment for all students and staff.
No jewelry allowed. Jewelry can be dangerous during dance classes and can also be lost or damaged. Students should not wear jewelry while dancing.
No gum is allowed in class. Chewing gum can be hazardous, so students should not chew gum while dancing.
Informing Danse Mode-Action of any injuries. Students must inform Danse Mode-Action of any injuries or medical conditions that may affect their dance.
