DMA Teams

In 2010, following the growing popularity of dance competitions, the school decided to test the waters by forming a performance troupe named YoungSteez, initially for a few showcases. This experiment generated remarkable interest, leading the team to venture into competitions the following year. In 2012, the Steez team was created from members of this initial team and made waves from 2013 onward when they won the World of Dance competition in Montreal. Soon after, a dozen teams were formed and went on to win numerous awards at multiple events. Notably, Steez won the Canadian Hip Hop Championships in 2015 and placed 10th in the world at the Hip Hop International Championships. Over the course of 12 years of competitions, Danse Mode-Action's teams have won over 200 titles in various styles including hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, Latin dance, and more.
