Terms and Conditions of Registration for DMA Competitive Dance Troupes
Scope
These General Conditions apply to the registration for DMA Competitive Dance Troupes. By registering, the registrant accepts these conditions without reservation.
Registration Process
Registration for a DMA Competitive Dance Troupe is done by completing an online form on our website or by contacting us directly. Registration is considered final once we have received payment of the membership fee.
Membership Requirements
Registration for a competitive dance troupe is open to individuals aged 7 and above in good physical condition. Participants must also be able to commit to regular training sessions and competitions.
Payment of Membership Fee
The membership fee must be paid in cash, bank transfer, credit card, or debit card. The fee includes training costs, competition costume expenses, and administrative fees.
Cancellation of Registration
Cancellation of registration for a DMA Competitive Dance Troupe can be done in writing by sending an email to our customer service. In such cases, refunds will be made according to our refund policy.
Liability
Danse Mode-Action disclaims any liability for loss or damage to participants' personal property during training or competitions. Participants are also required to provide their health insurance card.
Confidentiality
Participants' personal information will only be used for administrative purposes and will not be shared with third parties without the explicit consent of the participant.
Required mention by the Consumer Protection Act:
If the consumer cancels this contract before the merchant has started performing their main obligation, the consumer has no fees or penalties to pay.
If the consumer terminates this contract after the merchant has started performing their main obligation, the consumer is only required to pay:
a) The price of the services provided to them, calculated at the rate stipulated in the contract, and b) The lesser of the following amounts: either $50 or an amount representing no more than 10% of the price of the services.
Within 10 days following the contract termination, the merchant must refund the consumer any money owed to them.
The consumer is advised to consult articles 190 to 196 inclusive of the Consumer Protection Act (R.S.Q., c. P-40.1) and, if necessary, contact the Office de la protection du consommateur (Consumer Protection Office).
By enrolling in a dance course at Danse Mode-Action, participants accept these general terms and conditions and acknowledge that they have read and understood them. Danse Mode-Action reserves the right to modify these general terms and conditions at any time.
The consumer may cancel this contract at any time by sending a cancellation request to .
